SMKDU
is dedicated to the emotional and self-development of our
students through various academic, educational and co-curriculum
programmes. Our students' self-motivation and confidence have
been
increased through motivational programs and talks. We work towards
improving the perception and attitude of our students towards
the
world around them. Our greatest hurdle is to eliminate the uncertainty
and lazy habits of our students. We provide the tools
and support to
build self-confidence in our students and to encourage the sense
of
striving for achieving excellence. At the same time, SMKDU promotes
an environment of harmony so that a co-operative, attentive
and
helpful culture exists between students, friends and teachers,
all of
which play extremely important roles in producing ideal SMKDU
students. In the face of an ever-changing and evolving world,
we train
our students to be observant and knowledgeable of these
changes.
Our students are taught to equip themselves with the knowledge
of new
methods and to make full use of new and current technologies
such as
IT (Information Technology) to keep themselves afloat in this
quick and
persistent world.
Our objectives is to create students
who do not lack unique and noble
qualities. Each and every SMKDU student has been brought up
with
the correct mind frame of being grateful to what they have,
to expand
and develop the potential that exists in them, to refrain
from misdeeds
which would only destroy their bright and promising future,
to love and upkeep the integrity of the school and to be proud
with the
identity of the school. Our
goals are similar to that of the goals of
Malaysia's education system. We strive to educate and create
students who would become useful citizens of the country in
the hope
that they would hold high the principles in the nation's declaration
(Rukun Negara). Our aims as a school is to help our students
to build
their self-confidence, fill their beliefs with positive virtues
and to
develop their integrity and principles. We hope to develop
our
students tobe outstanding in both academical and extra-curricular
activities, to evolve into capable citizens that could help
make the
nation's greatest vision which is Vision 2020 to become a
reality and
to be well-balanced individuals from various mental, emotional,
intellectual and physical aspects. Most importantly, SMKDU
students
are citizens who love and hold high their beliefs and religion,
their
nation, their race and their principles.
